Located at 2120 Ontario St E in the vibrant city of Montreal, Restaurant Lafleur offers a thrilling fast-food experience that captures the essence of Quebecois comfort food. Known particularly for their delightful poutines and hotdogs, this eatery stands out as a perfect pit stop whether you're in a rush or craving a late-night snack, with service extending until 4 AM.

As you step inside, you’re greeted by a casual, energetic atmosphere—ideal for diners looking to grab a bite on the go or enjoy a laid-back meal with friends. The friendly staff quickly puts you at ease, ensuring that your order arrives efficiently. Although some reviews have noted the cleanliness of the seating area can sometimes be hit or miss, the overall vibe stays inviting and welcoming.

When it comes to the menu, you cannot go wrong with their classic poutine, where golden fries are generously topped with fresh cheese curds and smothered in rich gravy. The depth of flavor in their poutines is simply irresistible, with highlights like the poutine boeuf hace et oignons frits (ground beef and fried onions) which packs a punch that true comfort food lovers will appreciate. However, if you're in the mood for something a bit different, the smoked meat poutine is also available, although some patrons have mentioned it’s not the best on the menu.

For early risers or night owls alike, the menu also features incredibly priced steamed hot dogs, with reviews praising them as 'great' and a must-try! And if you’re leaning towards plant-based options, they offer an Impossible meat burger and tofu hot dog sausages, catering to those looking for vegetarian choices, even if they are somewhat limited.

Many guests appreciate the speedy service, perfect for those busy lunch hours—though one notable review did highlight some challenges with the cleanliness of the restrooms, which may need some attention. On the flip side, many patrons rave about the staff’s friendliness, with one satisfied customer sharing how they were pleased with the bilingual service that helped them navigate their order.

While Restaurant Lafleur may not boast the most extensive menu or fine dining atmosphere, its charm lies in the satisfaction of hearty comfort food served quickly and with a smile. If you find yourself wandering the streets of Montreal and hunger strikes, this spot promises to hit the right notes for a delightful culinary adventure!

Good place for a quick bite on the go. Service is fast and food is good. They have limited vegetarian options (Impossible meat burger, and tofu hot dog sausages). Parking can be complicated during lunch and dinner rush. Bathrooms, however, would need a little TLC as the men's room was out-of-service, and the ladie's room was apparently malfunctioning as well the last time I stopped...

Classic poutine was good. Smoked meat poutine was not the best one I had. But somewhat okay.

Good place to stop for a poutine or hotdog late night. Always took the food to go.

Service was good and the poutine hit the spot. The fries were a little greasy but everything else was good. The poutine boeuf hace et oignons frits (Ground beef and fried onions) has some great flavor. The beef was a broken up burger patty and the cheese didn’t melt enough but it was super hot. Overall, not a bad spot to get some poutine.

One of the best poutines in Montreal. The fries were very well browned and the gravy had great flavour.

The food was good! The cashier had a pretty confrontational attitude for no reason, and after having to re-explain my very simple order about 3 times (I was not being indecisive nor using confusing language), they still got it wrong when I received it. They didn’t offer a tray or anything, only 1 box between 2 people… slightly distressing, as the tables were covered in crumbs & grease. The dining area was subjected to two clashing radio stations playing over each other! Eerily, nobody else was eating there on a Friday evening so no speech to drown it out either. Overall, I would recommend but not without bringing your own tray, earplugs, and a pen to write your order down with

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food came efficiently and was tasty. I'd come back here for my poutine fix anytime. The restaurant was clean and the paper straws were thicker than normal which was appreciated.

Fast service, open until 4am and the best French fries in town! The staff is very friendly and polite at this location, plenty of room to sit and enjoy your food, clean as well. And very fast service. 69 cent steamed Hot dogs are great and the other items are reasonably priced and the staff was also bi-lingual which was very helpful for me as my french is not very good yet!
